Easy Ways To Extend The Reach Of Your Blog

Easy Ways To Extend The Reach Of Your Blog

With the new year a number of new blogs are created partly as a result of a resolution. New bloggers put a number of hours into their site only to be frustrated by the lack of readership and/or traffic. Your blog may start out as a great passion, but that can quickly drain if you don’t get some sort of recognition through comments, tweets, Facebook re-posts, or just the sheer number of visitor numbers.

BlogTV Increases Page Load Speeds

BlogTV Increases Page Load Speeds

BlogTV has shown some modest increases in viewership and traffic. This has also lent itself to some frustrating page load times for members based on the number of ‘friends’ he or she has. YouTube Launching Friend Suggestions

YouTube Launching Friend Suggestions

logo-youtubeYouTube is announcing today that they will be rolling out a new feature which you Facebook fanatics may already be familiar with … Friend Suggestions. That’s right. YouTube will be launching a “you may know these people” suggestions box on the homepage over the next few weeks. The suggestions will show you the YouTube channels of people who might be acquaintances, and lets you easily connect and subscribe to them.

You’ll only see channels whose owners have allowed themselves to be found by others who have their email address.

Facebook Removes Its Advanced Search

Facebook Removes Its Advanced Search

If you want to scan through users based on location or some other profile information you are now forced to use other applications that provide these search features.

Facebook has been phasing out different search functions which is quite puzzling to me. To do simple things like search for friends in a specific geographic location is not really possible. The only way you can do this is to use basic search and hope a keyword search filters out your friends to what you are looking for.
