Best Buy Employee Mocks iPhone Fanboys, Gets Suspended
A Best Buy employee has been suspended after creating a YouTube video mocking iPhone fans.
The video contains a cartoon bear asking a cartoon pig for an iPhone 4. When then pig says he is all sold out of the iPhone, he tries to convince the bear to buy Sprint’s Evo 4G instead.
The video never mentions the employee’s name or mentions Best Buy, but somehow the video was traced back to Brian Maupin. Brian works for Best Buy just outside of Kansas City.
Associated Press reports that Maupin was suspended from his job on Thursday once the video went viral. It is expected that Maupin will be fired Monday.
