WordPress 2.9 Update Now Available!
WordPress version 2.9 has been made available to all users for instant upgrade through the WordPress Control Panel or manual download.
WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg wrote on the official blog saying that this release includes “over 500 tickets, bugs, and enhancements”. Quite a leap in versions since we just enjoyed the version 2.8 upgrade just six months ago.
They are calling this WordPress release “Carmen”. Once you perform the upgrade you will notice a few additions, including the beginnings of a WordPress image editing tool (cropping, scaling, and rotating), easier video embeds, and batch plugin updating. Anyone that has used WordPress for some time will appreciate these enhancements!
