There is a report out of Japan today giving us new hope about 3D HDTVs. It’s no secret that we have been against 3D sets that require the use of expensive glasses for home use. However, all that is about to change. According to Yomiuri Shumbun, Toshiba will release three models of an autostereoscopic 3D TV set before the end of 2010. Autostereoscopic TV doesn’t require you to wear glasses to see 3D images.

Toshiba isn’t the only company working on autostereoscopic TV. The upcoming Nintendo 3DS will use an autostereoscopic screen, and we’ve covered the topic in the past. But Toshiba has been working on improving the limitations of 3D TV’s for a while, as Engadget points out.

Because Toshiba will be the first to roll out 3D TV without the glasses requirement, you can bet the price tag will be higher than normal. But, when you consider the cost of each pair of glasses for a traditional 3D TV being around $150 a pair, it could still average out to be the same price – without worrying about breaking any glasses. Toshiba has yet to set pricing on the modes.

The sets are expected to be in stores before the holiday shopping season.

Google Street View has a habit of picking up everyday things as it drives up and down our streets – even bodies laying in gutters. What’s worse is that it appears vehicles pass by and don’t stop to help this young child!

Then the truth emerged. The ‘body’ belonged to ten-year-old Azura Beebeejaun who has revealed she was ‘playing dead’ as a prank outside her home in Middle Road, Worcester. She had no idea Google was coming down the street at the time. Needless to say shes quite happy and healthy as well as the latest Internet meme.

How many times have you heard people complain about the low paid, unintelligible workers at fast food joints taking your order at the cash registers? Everyone has a story as if it were the worst day in their life. There is hope on the horizon if the El Pollo Loco restuarant chain in Orange County, California has any say in the matter!

Words cannot express what this poor farmer must have gone through when he checked his motion-detecting cam which was meant to capture pictures of wildlife. Instead the photos were not of little Bambi getting a drink of water from a nearby pond, but some old, trespassing man in a thong.

Finally, statistical proof that iPhone users aren’t just getting screwed by Apple: The website okcupid.com did a study and came up with this data that most other websites have taken way out of context! If you want to know the REAL STORY behind this data which really doesn’t prove anything whatsoever regarding iPhone people getting more than Android or Blackberry users.

Then the folks looked further into the data and found over 9,000 (ding) people had some age and sexual activity associated with their photos. That accounts for this graph:

To see how they took over 550,000 photos, matched them up, had 11.4 million people vote to determine which camera makes you sexier, why flash makes you 7 years older, and much more head over to okcupid.com.
